The awards were given by National Police chief Dir. Gen. Oscar Albayalde during the 117th Police Service Anniversary Awarding at Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City.

“The whole city police force is very thankful to Mayor Oca for his unwavering support,” said Supt. Ferdinand Del Rosario, city police deputy for administration.

Last month, a report from the PNP also showed that Caloocan City is ranked 8th among cities in the country with the lowest rate.

In NCR, only the City of Caloocan was listed among top 10 cities with the lowest crime rate.

In February, a survey conducted by the National Police Commission showed that the city police was the most trusted among other police stations in Metro Manila.

With all these achievements, Mayor Oca promised to continue supporting the city police force led by Sr. Supt. Restituto Arcanghel.

“Our city government will never get tired in supporting our policemen in their mandate to ensure peace and order,” Mayor Oca said.
