The 3×3 Golden League Manila has been moved to Oct. 26 to 28 following the postponement of games due to super typhoon Ompong.
Tournament commissioner Allan Caidic said the 3×3 Golden League Manila will be held at the historic Dumlao Sports Center in Mandaluyong City from Oct. 26 to 27, with the playoffs and finals to be held on Oct. 28 in Circuit Makati.
The 3×3 Golden League Manila was originally slated Sept. 13 to 15, but organizers postponed the tournament for the safety of the participants and officials.
“We decided to postpone the tournament on a later date for the safety of not just the players who will be competing but also our technical officials and even fans. Their safety is our top priority,” said Caidic, who added the moving of the date will also give the participants time to prepare for the tournament as slots are still open of those interested to join. There will be a maximum of 128 teams participating in the tournament.
“We encourage everyone especially from the countryside to join the tournament. This is a great opportunity for them to showcase their talents in a 3×3 setting,” Caidic said.
