Conferment

The Ateneo de Manila University conferred an Honorary Doctorate Degree, honoris causa, on former Foreign Affairs secretary Albert del Rosario (middle) who is shown with Rev. Father Jose Ramon T. Villarin SJ, president of the university, and Mrs. Gretchen del Rosario. The conferment was given to Del Rosario for staunchly defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country, raising the standards of economic diplomacy and proactively ensuring the safety and security of overseas Filipinos everywhere.
