The collision of the two unimogs caused injuries to six MRT personnel, officials said.

The MRT started its operations with eight trains inserted to the railway line as of 6 am.

“MRT-3 started passenger operations with the first train being only in Cubao,” according to the MRT-3. “Additional trains are being inserted and are loading passengers as of this time,” it added.

The Department of Transportation has deployed additional buses to assist affected passengers.
