A backhoe drill on Wednesday starts to demolish the bridge connecting San Juan and Manila in Santa Mesa—to be closed for seven months—to give way to the skyway stage 3 project. MMDA task force operations head Bong Nebrija says the bridge will be demolished so that barges carrying the equipment for the Skyway Stage 3 project can pass through the waterway.
