Mornings will get even brighter as the newest television series PlayHouse brings a daily dose of romance and happiness and proves that love deserves a second chance starting today on ABS-CBN.
PlayHouse revolves around the theme that love is a choice—it is a person’s will to choose someone repeatedly, but it may also change in an instant. This is the story of Angelica Panganiban and Zanjoe Marudo’s characters Patty and Marlon—two college lovers who eventually get married. However, their dream of having a long lasting love is tested by struggles that eventually lead to their split.
After of a long time living separately, the two meet again as Patty files for an annulment to formally separate with Marlon. But just when they think everything is over between them, an unfortunate tragedy changes their lives forever.
Their friends Emily and Brad get into an accident, leaving their child Robin (Justin James Quilantang) behind. As the kid’s legal guardians, Patty and Marlon are forced to stay together under one roof to take care of Robin and make sure he gets the love he needs. This gives Marlon the opportunity to patch things up with Patty, despite her constant disapproval.
Will Robin be the key to giving Patty and Marlon a second chance?
Aside from Angelica and Zanjoe, the rising love team of teen stars Kisses Delavin and Donny Pangilinan will also bring kilig to viewers. They will play Shiela and Zeke, two enemies who eventually fall for each other.
