Sometimes it’s difficult for the whole family to sit down and watch primetime TV together, but with ABS-CBN’s newest talent-reality competition, The Kids’ Choice, weekend family bonding gets more fun and exciting.
The show promises to be “an excellent program with great, unfiltered humor only kids can deliver.”
On Thursday, ABS-CBN presented kiddie celebrities Xia Vigor, Onyok Pineda, Carlo Mendoza, Jayden Villega and Chunsa Jung, collectively called The Just Kids League, to the members of entertainment press as they sit on the judging panel in the reality show, which starts airing tonight.
Worldwide trending social media sensation Xia Vigor made a mark with her performances in Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids and with her acting prowess in numerous Kapamilya television series such as Langit Lupa.
Another well-known child star Onyok Pineda rose to fame as the lovable sidekick in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano and his transformations in Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids. He will also give his take on the performances of the contestants in the show.
The viral child wonder Carlo Mendoza shot to fame in Gandang Gabi Vice, will add fun and entertainment with his signature “gigil” and witty quips that will surely put a smile on viewers’ faces.
Goin’ Bulilit mainstay and Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids performer Chunsa Jung will bring her cute antics to a whole new stage as she gives her funny and unfiltered comments on the contestants.
Lastly, talented skater boy Jayden Villegas who first impressed viewers in Little Big Shots, completes the “Just Kids League” lineup.
The Kids’ Choice, hosted by Robi Domingo and Eric Nicolas, is an original concept that features for the first time a panel of celebrity child stars who will critique talented non-celebrity families called “Fam-bato.”
“You can only imagine how we are on the set,” Robi pertaining to how rowdy the kids were during the press event. “That’s the reason why we can’t go live but I can assure you that it’s all fun.”
Every episode, four “Fam-batos” will showcase a variety of talents to impress the kiddie judges to be proclaimed as “The Kids’ Choice.” But apart from their jaw-dropping talents, the families’ heartwarming stories will also take the spotlight as they share moments with the “Just Kids League” and impart inspiring lessons.
Dubbed as the only show on TV where kids have the last say, The Kids’ Choice premieres today on ABS-CBN and will air every Saturday and Sunday thereafter.
