Lucky Chinatown’s Asian Fest: Game On! is all set to treat guests, music fans and culture enthusiasts with yet another dynamic fusion of arts, music, and culture in a three-week long celebration highlighted by gaming tournaments, music battles, mouthwatering dishes and delicacies and live performances inspired by Korean and Japanese music stars and groups.”‹

Now on its 3rd year, Lucky Chinatown’s Asian Fest: Game On! is all set to treat guests, music fans and culture enthusiasts with yet another dynamic fusion of arts, music, and culture in a three-week long celebration highlighted by gaming tournaments, music battles, mouthwatering dishes and delicacies and live performances inspired by Korean and Japanese music stars and groups.

From August 20 to September 2, guests can enjoy marvel through the best of Asia and enjoy the festivities beginning with the Asian Street Food Fair. The food fair, which runs from August 20 to 25 at the Lucky Chinatown Walk, features the most authentic selection of street food, from noodle dishes, dimsums, and other must-try delicacies.

Guests can also catch the talent competition of Mr. & Ms. Chinatown 2018 on August 26. Co-presented with Chinoy TV, the event features Chinatown’s most beautiful ladies and gents who will be regaling the audience with their own special performances.

Meanwhile, gaming enthusiasts can watch or challenge top console gamers of the Philippine Gaming Association at the GameForce Battle event, happening on Aug. 27 to 31. They can also level up and battle against elite gamers of the e-gaming world at the Game Stop with Playpark event on Aug. 29 to 31.

Also happening on the Aug. 29 to 31 is the Asian Treasures: Pop Culture Exhibit where guests can witness the coolest dolls, toys, and pop culture collectibles on display.

K-pop fans, on the other hand, can look forward to Korea Day and ride the Korean wave with K-Pop dance covers, K-beauty demos and lots of surprise artists in store on September 1. Kicking off this event is the K-Beauty 101 where guests can get the lowdown on Korean Beauty secrets with Beauty in Seoul’s Edward Avila at 2PM. Following this is the Korean Wave Dance Off, a K-pop dance cover competition is slated at 4PM. Closing the program in electrifying fashion is South Korean singer JinHo Bae, who will perform his original hits live at 7PM.

Guests can detour to Ohayo! Japan Day, a celebration of all things Japanese on Sept.2 at 2PM onwards. Starting off the event is the Cosplay Wars Year 2: Game Giants, where fans’ favorite gaming characters come alive. They can also take a glimpse of the iconic Japanese fashion trends on the runway at Lolita and Dandy: J-Fashion Show. J-Pop fans can ride the Asian wave at the J-pop battle of the bands at the Tokyo Beat! J-pop Battle.

Moreover, guests can also catch Chinatown’s cutest and most adorable boys and girls at this year’s Little Mr. & Ms. Chinatown as they shine at the talent competition on Sept. 23 and find out who will the coveted title at coronation day on Oct. 2.
