GMA Network’s regional arm,V (RTV), kept the rainy days bright for Kapuso fans, kicking off the third quarter of the year with jam-packed events nationwide.
Last July 7, hunks Rafael Rosell and Kristoffer Martin flew to Iloilo and treated the mallgoers of Festive Walk Mall to a kilig-overloaded Kapuso Mall Show.
Meanwhile, the stars of the latest fantasy Victor Magtanggol—Dion Ignacio, Lindsay Johnston, and Reese Tuazon—were in Robinsons Luisita in Tarlac for a Kapuso Mall Show last July 21. Joining them were Jake Vargas and Inah de Belen who will star in the upcoming drama series Ika-5 Utos.
On the same day, Asia’s Nightingale and The Clash judge Lani Misalucha wowed the Kapusong Ilonggos who came to Robinsons Place Pavia in Iloilo.
This year’s celebration of Tanjay City Fiesta was made extra special with the participation of veteran actor Gabby Concepcion. The Kapuso celebrity was at the Osmeña Park, Tanjay City, Negros Oriental for the Matron Queen Coronation Night last July 22.
GMA Regional TV also participated in Batangas City’s Sublian Festival last July 23. Ika-5 Utos cast Jake Vargas, Inah de Belen, Migo Adecer, Jeric Gonzales, and Klea Pineda entertained the audience who flocked to SM City Batangas. Treating them further was pop sweetheart Julie Anne San Jose.
Actor Dennis Trillo made hearts flutter when he graced the Miss Tanjay 2018 at Osmena Park Tanjay City last July 23 as part of the ongoing celebration of Tanjay City Fiesta. Joining him was Rafael Rosell.
Celebrating the Tanjay City Fiesta through a Kapuso Fiesta the following day (July 24) were Kapuso Oppa Alexander Lee, Marucci, Boobay, Tetay, and The Clash judge Lani Misalucha.
Capping off the series of July events was the Kapuso Mall Show in Magic Mall Urdaneta last July 29. Alexander Lee and Marucci kept the crowd energized as they promote their single, “S.M.N.” Providing fun as well were Bubble Gang girls Arra San Agustin and Denise Barbacena.
“While the rainy season can dampen the mood of some people, it actually inspires us even more to go around the country and spread happiness to our loyal Kapuso viewers via various mall shows and events,” says GMA Regional TV Department Vice President and Head Oliver Amoroso.
“We thank our Kapuso artists for joining us in in this endeavor. We are also grateful to the local government units and malls for partnering with us. Expect more from GMA Regional TV in the coming months as we roll out bigger events in the regions,” he ends.
