Richard Gallardo of JAF Racing Team scored his biggest win yet in the sixth leg of the RACE Motorsports Club Phoenix Pulse Technology National Slalom Series, which had a record number of participants at the NFA Compound Cabanatuan City.
Gallardo clinched the Overall and Front Wheel Best time of the day with 38.54, foiling the bid of Milo Rivera of Tough Gear/Federal Racing Team, who placed runner-up with a 38.58.
Pekto Pakutkot (39.08) of Speed Jav Racing Team, Inigo Anton (39.20) of Mark Young Racing Team, Powee Base (39.23) of PMMS Rennsport Racing Team, Carlos Anton (39.5) and Vegil Calayo (39.60) of JAF Racing Team rounded out the Top 7.
Rivera, the defending champion, nevertheless got the Rear Wheel Production best time.
Gallardo, meanwhile, also garnered the Front Wheel best time, followed by Pakutkot, Inigo Anton, Base, Carlos Anton and Calayo.
Base also brought home the novice best time, with Calayo and Ram Rafanan (40.58) settling for second and third, respectively.
The 2018 RACE Motorsports Club Phoenix Pulse Technology National Slalom Series with enhanced power and acceleration is also supported by major sponsors Federal Tyres, and 3K Batteries, New SR KYB Shock Absorbers and Robinsons Malls. The event was participated in by Tough Gear Racing Team, PMMS Rennsports, JEMAG Racing Team, Globe Spade, RODLEA Racing Team, JAF Racing Team, Pongga Racing Team, Mark Young Race Cars, Speedjav Racing Team and from Talavera City.
The seventh leg will be held on Aug. 19 at Robinsons Novaliches, while the second leg of the Slalom Invitational will be on Aug. 5 at Robinsons Calasiao, Pangasinan.
