This corner features pets of animal lovers every week. We hope new owners and those thinking of getting a pet will be encouraged to be responsible “furparents” through these features. We also hope more people will be moved to be kind to animals when they read about the great relationship that can be created between humans and animals.

LITTLE ONE was rescued Oct. 5, 2017 by Kat Perez Abundancia.
“I was walking that time when I saw a guy handing over a sick kitten to a boy. I think she was around one month old then. I didn’t hear the conversation but it seems the guy was asking the boy to dispose of her somewhere,” Kat recounts.
Kat adds: “In front of this guy were his kids. I heard them saying "Bye Bye, Miming." That was when I realized that they were really going to dispose of the kitten.”
“Since I know the boy, I ran after him and asked where he planned to bring the kitten. He didn’t reply so I asked him for the kitten instead, “ Kat recalls.
Kat took care of the kitten 24 hours. She fed LITTLE ONE and gave her medicine.
“Since she’s my newest baby, I called her little one as she was so tiny then, malnourished and very sick. Today, she is very healthy. She may still be small but she is a bully. She loves to cuddle, play, and can already jump from high places, “ Kat says.
TABBY, 8-10 months old, was a stray puppy who Alex-Zandra Palmero adopted.
“I remember how excited he was whenever I was about to feed him and other strays dogs outside of our house. Well, until now he's still excited during feeding time, “Alex-Zandra says.
“Tabby is a happy, energetic, hyper, super takaw na puppy. He's very friendly to other people and loves playing with my toddler too. One thing I can say, I will never regret adopting him, “Alez-Zandra adds.
