Macau—The stage is set and the fighters are raring to see action when one of the biggest sporting events in this city unfolds later today.

Headlined by a pair of compelling world-title bouts, ONE: Pinnacle of Power will also see several top contenders, former world champions, and Muay Thai legends take to the mat at the Studio City Events Center.

And Baguio-based Team Lakay is hoping interim flyweight champion Geje “Gravity” Eustaqio’s “King of Rematch” tag will ring true in order to avenge a 2014 defeat against Adriano Moraes in the night’s main event that will settle who the undisputed division king really is.

“It has been four years since our last fight, this a showcase of how we progressed, By merely standing on that stage I know we’ve already won,” said Eustaqio during a media meet and greet Thursday.

“He showed in his last fight how he has developed (since our last bout). We’re gonna give you one of the best shows in the world,” said Moraes who feels confident in leaving Macau victorious, “I got my belts here, I like to fight here, I like the people,” he added.

In the co-main event,  promotional debutante Laura “The Gladiadora” Balin, is planning to shock the world when she challenges China’s “The Panda” Xiong Jing Nan for the ONE Women’s Strawweight World Championship.

While notable fighters in the renowned stable will also look to produce stellar wins, Edward “The Ferocious” Kelly, fresh from a 21-second KO victory early this year, fixes his sights on another highlight-reel finish to establish his world title contender status against dangerous and evergreen veteran Narantungalag “Tungaa” Jadambaa.

Danny Kingad clashes with “The Southern Eagle” Ma Hao Bin, who is unbeaten in the ONE Championship stage and eyes to cement his status as one of the best flyweights in the world in his undercard match versus the 22-year-old Baguio native.

Meanwhile, Victor Cui, the Chief Executive Officer of ONE Championship says the main matchup between the two champs is a scintillating offer to all MMA enthusiasts.

“This is a great fight for fans. I like both of them and I’m just excited that we’re gonna bring a matchup to Macau that everyone is gonna love,” he said.
