The Philippine Racing Commission’s 2nd Leg of the 2018 Triple Crown Stakes series headlines a string of exciting stakes races this Sunday at the Santa Ana Park, Saddle and Clubs Leisure Park in Cavite.
Seven horses will compete for the 1800-meter race with a total of P3 million in horse prizes distributed as follows: P1.8 million for the winner; P675,000 for second place; P375,000 for third, and; P150,000 for fourth.
A breeder’s purse of P100,000 goes to the breeder of the winning horse. The seven declared entries are: Box Office, Goldsmith, Perlas ng Silangan, Smart Candy, Speedmatch, Victorious Colt and Wonderland.
The 2018 Philracom Hopeful Stakes Race, with a distance of 1,800 meters, meanwhile, will be contested by nine declared entries which include Disyembresais, Foolish Heart, Jack Hammer, Misha, Royal Signal, Sheer, Talitha Koum, Tapster, and The Best Ever. Guaranteed prizes total P1 million with P600,000 going to the winner, as well as a breeder’s purse of P30,000.
The second accompanying stakes race, the 2018 Philracom 3YO Local Horses Stakes, will also run at a distance of 1,800 meters and will include the following entries: Aphrodisiac, Barrett Browning, Courageous, Hamlet, Lourdes Drive, Princess Eowyn, Sheltex Magic, The Barrister. Guaranteed prizes total P500,000 with P300,000 allotted to the winner.
