SMC Tollways, operator of TPLEX in the north and Skyway, NAIAX, SLEX, and STAR in the south, in partnership with Petron Philippines, recently launched its assistance program for motorists using the toll roads during the summer months. RoadMAP, by using 6 Petron stations located both in the north and south toll roads operated by SMC Tollways will provide motorists with free mechanical services and checkups, road safety tips, travel information, and free medical assistance. Manuel Bonoan, president and CEO of SMC Tollways, noting that traffic volume on the toll roads notably increase during the summer months says, ‘We have deemed it fit to continue to provide these extra services to our motorists.’ Likewise during the RoadMAP launch, plans of stretching existing tollroads and building more infrastructure projects in line with President Rodrigo Duterte’s ‘Build Build Build’ program were noted.
