The New Clark City is a project of the Bases Conversion Development Authority and was tapped by Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano as venue for the centerpiece events athletics and swimming for the country’s hosting of the 30th Southeast Asian Games in 2019. Cayetano is the Chairman of the Philippine SEA Games Organizing Committee.
