AVOID the hassle in securing a passport.

The Philippine Basketball Association has extended the deadline on its ‘Passport on Wheels Services’ to help more fans in need of a passport.

To allow more of its fans to avail of the service, PBA commissioner Willie Marcial has instructed his staff to put up a satellite counter on venues where the games are scheduled to be played. The special counter will issue DFA forms to fans applying for or renewing their passports.

“This is our way of giving back to the fans. This is just a simple project but it will benefit those who are in need of a passport,” said Marcial.

PBA personnel manning the special counter will issue DFA forms only to ticket holders of the day’s scheduled games. A fan can avail an application form for three applicants maximum.

All application forms must be submitted at the PBA office or at the special counter where the games are played not later than June 10.

The ‘Passport on Wheels Services’ is an Alagang PBA project through DFA Secretary Allan Peter Cayetano, who is also an avid basketball supporter.
