Online applicants for passport will only have until June 30 as the Department of Foreign Affairs on Friday prepares to incorporate electronic payment in its system starting July.
In an advisory, the DFA said “passport online appointment slots from July 2018 onwards have not been opened” to give way for the preparations.

The DFA however, said that slots for May to June will remain open.
DFA expects the ePayment system to hasten transactions, minimize the number of no-show applicants, and open more online appointment slots by allowing applicants to pay at a payment facility of their choice.
