Standard Chartered Bank (SCB), in partnership with Philippine Business for Social Progress, Cataract Foundation of the Philippines Inc and Department of Education, recently distributed free eyeglasses to teachers and students of Pateros National High School, Aguho Elementary School and Sta. Ana Elementary School. This completes the bank’s ‘Alay sa Kinabukasan’ Program in the public schools of Pateros which benefitted more than 3000 students, teachers and parents with free eye screening, provision of eyeglasses, financial education and HIV/AIDS awareness.
