Bagani continues to reign primetime as the clash between Lakas (Enrique Gil) and Lakam (Matteo Guidicelli) earned a national TV rating of 33 percent from combined urban and rural homes, compared to its rival Kambal, Karibal with only 19.30 percent, according to data from Kantar Media.
The whole month of March, Bagani also ruled its timeslot with an average national TV rating of 33.40 percent, or 15 percentage points higher than rival program’s 17.80 percent.
Aside from the television veiwers, netizens commended the episode amazing action scenes, making the show’s official hashtag #BAGANILakasVsLakam trend on Twitter nationwide.
In the episode that aired on Tuesday, the long-awaited battle between Lakam and Lakas finally happened, leaving many people dead in Sansinukob. The two were just about to give each other their final blow when Mayari intervened and made them realize their responsibilities as Baganis.
Lakas, Ganda (Liza Soberano), and Dumakulem, seemed to realize their faults and stopped. Lakam, however, stuck to his father’s plans and still tried to find ways to eliminate Lakas and the desert tribe.
Out of desperation, he gave in to the suggestion of one of his father’s advisers, Hukluban (Minco Fabregas).
