JUNEMAR Fajardo can now play some DOTA with ease of mind on his new PC set.

This after the San Miguel Beermen laid their claim to history, hoisting their fourth-straight Philippine Cup Championship following a 108-99 double overtime victory over the Magnolia Hotshots Friday night at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The Finals MVP saved his best for last for a conference-best 42 points and 20 rebounds to give his team its sixth title in three years, while accomplishing a promise to himself to exact revenge on a team that caused his first finals' heartbreak in 2013–and a broken PC monitor.

The six-time Best Player of the Conference awardee fittingly sealed the series, 4-1, with the last basket of the game after the Beermen completed a huge turnaround of being down by as much as 23 points in the match.

Players, coaches, management and supporters of SMB celebrate after the Beermen made history with their 4-peat triumph.

Averaging 24.4 points, 16.2 rebounds and 2 assists in the series, The Kraken carried SMB to its 25th overall PBA championship and eighth Philippine Cup title.

"This championship is really for the players who showed the heart of a champion. We were down but we got back," said three-time PBA Press Corps Coach of the Year Leo Austria of SMB during the awarding ceremonies.

"I hope we can sustain this winning culture for the next conference," added Austria, who is now a perfect 6-for-6 in a finals' series at the Beermen's helm.

Humble as ever, Fajardo deflected credit and praised his teammates who fought tooth and nail for the comeback win.

"Kami lahat ng teammates ko ang best player kasi wala kahit isa sa amin ang nag-give up," he said as Arwind Santos chipped in 23 points, while Chris Ross and Marcio Lassiter combined for 29.

Paul Lee top-billed for Magnolia with 21 markers, while Rome dela Rosa's conference-best 19 points weren't enough to extend the series.

Action will resume on April 22 at the Araneta Coliseum as Blackwater and Columbian Dyip open the 2018 Commissioner's Cup, with TNT KaTropa parading new prime acquisition Terrence Romeo against his former team GlobalPort Batang Pier.
