Female teenaged residents of Navotas watch their instructor on how to execute proper karate moves against aggressors. Around 75 Navoteñas aged 13 to 19 years old joined the city government’s SAVE (She Against Violence through Empowerment), a three-day self-defense workshop. The short course is made possible through the partnership of the Navotas City Council for Youth Development and the Japan Karate Association.
