The Public Attorneys' Office (PAO) gets a clearance from Malacañang to go on with its investigation on the possible link between deaths of children and Dengvaxia immunizations.
PAO Chief Persida Rueda-Acosta says, she met President Rodrigo Duterte last night and they talked about this matter.
She reports, the chief executive told her to go on and continue seeking justice for the possible victims of the controversial anti-dengue vaccine.
Acosta was with Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) Founding Chairman Dante Jimenez.
Jimenez also serves as chairperson of the Anti-Corruption Commission.
For his part, Jimenez says, the number of persons whose lives were put at risk when the Department of Health (DOH) used Dengvaxia in its nationwide immunization program is far greater than the number of alleged victims of extra-judicial killings (EJKs) resulting from the Duterte administration's war against illegal drugs.
He notes, over a million people received Dengvaxia shots, including students in Metro Manila, Central Luzon and even several personnel from the Philippine National Police (PNP).
