Local travel agencies will again have the capacity to expand their network and offer more services to the public as the 3rd International Travel Trade Expo opens on Feb. 9 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
The business-to-business component of the Philippine Travel Agencies Association’s annual Travel Tour Expo will showcase more than 80 sellers from 16 countries that will hold one-on-one meetings with 216 travel agency buyers from across the country.
TTE chairperson and PTAA president Marlene Dado Jante said the iTTE will be able to generate more partnerships for travel agencies while creating a new path for marketing the Philippines as a prime tourism destination.
“The iTTE will create a wider network as travel agencies will be able to find new suppliers and new destinations to offer to their respective clients. They no longer have to go abroad to find new partners. We are bringing it to them here in the country,” Jante said.
