Local authorities in Albay have allowed some evacuees to go home.
The evacuees sought shelter last Monday as lava flows from Mayon volcano intensified.

The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) has given the go signal to about 2,000 families or over 11,000 individuals.
They are residents who live in 5 barangays that are located within the eight to nine kilometer danger zone.
As of now, the number of families staying in temporary shelters have gone down to 6,973 families or 26,971 individuals.
The schools that are being used as evacuation centers impose a curfew from 10 pm to 4 am.
Alert level 3 remains up over Mayon.
