AFTER a tough loss to the AFP Cavaliers, the Judiciary Magis take on dark horse GSIS Furies on Sunday at the Olivarez Gym in Parañaque City.

Aiming to get back on track, the Magis, led by Justice Midas Marquez, Chester Tolomia, Don Camaso and Warren Ybañez, will flex their muscle on Sunday in trying to beat the hot-streaking Furies, who have a 5-game winning streak.

The GSIS basketball team will rely on its consistent producers Rene Boy Banzali, James Patrick Abugan and Dennis Bunyi, with support from role players Tristan Henandez, Michael Nuyana, Aaron Sunga and big man Anthony Cuevas.

Meanwhile, the Senate Defenders battle the NHA Builders in the main game at 5 p.m.

The Senate basketball club, led by Sen. Sonny Angara and Sen. Joel Villanueva, with the help from old reliables Jeffrey Sanders, James Mangaran, Harly Ng and Michael Dan Omega, is expected to have an explosive duel with the armed and deadly NHA team, which also has a solid roster of runners and gunners like the former MVP Antonio Lustestica, Waldemar Tibay, John Derrick Dizon, Alvin Vitug, Marvin Ladia and Marvin Mercado.

Expect a high-level clash from Coach Myk Saguiguit (Senate) and Coach Benneth Palad (NHA).

The games are telecast live by UNTV, with webcast via www.untvweb.com.
