Over a hundred stranded passengers waiting for boat rides going to their provinces were finally able to take trips.

They had been stranded in Manila North Port Terminal for 4 days or since December 31, 2017.

The passengers were finally able to get rides after boats from Dipolog, Dumaguete and Zamboanga arrived at 4 am today.

Authorities say, there might still be some delays in the trips of passengers riding six boats heading to Palawan and Mindanao.

Storms Urduja, Vinta and Agaton prevented the vessels from sailing.

Meanwhile, several roads in Legazpi City remain submerged following heavy rains.

Around 60 families in Barangay Lapu Lapu sought shelter in evacuation centers.

The rains subsided on Wednesday night.

Nevertheless, classes in Albay are suspended today.
