Japanese global casual apparel retailer, Uniqlo, opened new stores across the Philippines last month, adding a total of close to 3,000 sqm of new shopping space in three locations, bringing the Uniqlo shopping experience to even more Filipinos.

Following its successful expansion in Mindanao and the recent opening of its first store in Tacloban, the opening of the new stores marks the growing commitment and strengthening position for Uniqlo across the country. The expansion is made possible because Filipinos have shown a strong appreciation for Uniqlo’s signature LifeWear — innovative, high-quality clothing that is universal in design and comfort and made for everyone, everywhere.

Uniqlo shows its commitment to provide FIlipinos with quality apparel with the opening of its new stores

“Since we first arrived in the Philippines five years ago, our commitment to provide high quality LifeWear pieces has always inspired us to push the boundaries of the innovation and design,” said Masayoshi Nakamura, COO, UNIQLO Philippines. We are happy to announce the opening of three new stores to highlight our commitment to more Filipinos in time for the holiday season.”

The first new store opened in Uptown Place Mall in the Taguig area on Dec. 1. Situated on the second floor of the mall with 1,662 sqm of new shopping space, the store is the third large store in the area. In addition, Uniqlo also opened in SM Podium on Dec. 8.

Following the opening in December, Uniqlo is also set to open its second largest store in Quezon City at Ayala Malls Vertis North this month.

The two new stores showcase a full and colorful line-up of Uniqlo LifeWear for men, women, kids and babies. Product offerings will include Uniqlo shirts, pants, jeans, denims, dresses and Uniqlo Sport items. Also available will be the full range of world-renowned Uniqlo proprietary technology clothing lines, such as AIRism and HEATTECH.
