VIVO, a top 5 global smartphone brand with over 200 million users globally and is a known smartphone popular among the young and hip crowd is also the name behind one of the industry’s firsts’ 24MP selfie-centric phones V7+ and V7.
The Vivo Campus Invasion leveled up this holiday season with a festive and lighthearted Paskuhan at the University of Santo Tomas.
The Vivo Campus Invasion is mounted in various colleges and universities in and out of Manila in an effort to promote the Vivo brand and its smartphone products and to reach out to the younger, with celebrity bands and exciting activities on tow.
The Vivo Campus Invasion has, so far, visited 21 schools this year with more than 60,000 students involved and more than 3,000 students who have become Vivo Club ambassadors.
The universities and colleges toured were: University of the East-Caloocan, Philippine School of Business Administration, University of the Philippines-Diliman, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Technological Institute of the Philippines, Jose Rizal University, Arellano University-Manila, Arellano University-Malabon, De La Salle-Araneta University, Bulacan State University in Malolos, Far Eastern University, National University, and many more.
The Vivo Campus Invasion has brought in talents to perform for the students: Silent Sanctuary, Callalily, SUD, Miro Valera, Spongecola, Paraluman, and many other local musicians.
This year, Vivo is the co-presenter of the UST Paskuhan celebration. Held last December 20, an estimated 60,000 Thomasians and guests gathered together at the UST Grandstand. Silent Sanctuary, Ben and Ben, Miro Valera and Callalily wowed the crowd with their performances. Moderate rain was experienced during the performance of Callalily and during the fireworks display, but judging from how the crowd chose to syat out despite the showers only shows that nothing will beat the passion of Thomasian students for the annual Paskuhan. Vivo also invades the streets of Dapitan near Espana to bring more Christmas fun and cheers where Urbandub and Silent Sanctuary performed during the after-Paskuhan party.
Following the success of the Vivo Campus Invasion 2017, expect another installment of this cool school tours in 2018.
