Tropical storm 'Vinta' continues to move westward toward Southern Palawan.
PAGASA says, it may make landfall in Southern Palawan between tonight (December 23) and early tomorrow morning (December 24).
The storm is expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) tomorrow morning or afternoon.
As of Saturday afternoon, Vinta has been spotted 245 kilometers south southeast of Puerto Princesa City in Palawan.
It is packing maximum sustained winds of up to 80 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 95 kph.
The storm is forecast to move west at 20 kph.
Storm signal number 2 has been raised in Southern Palawan.
Storm signal number 1 is up over the rest of the province.
