Travel of RORO buses limited

Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has limited the travel of the so-called roll-on roll-off (RORO) buses to Mindanao.

This is to avoid the situation wherein passengers are stranded in several ports as tropical storm Vinta batters several provinces in Mindanao and Visayas.

46 persons remain unaccounted for.

It has also placed the damage brought by the weather disturbance at around one billion pesos.

This figure includes P 800 million-worth of infrastructure projects lost in the aftermath of the storm.
