Police in Ozamiz City have confiscated about 10 kilos of illegal drugs in a series of raids in Ozamiz City, Misamis Occidental.
The persons allegedly in possession of the seized shabu are reportedly supporters of the influential political family of the Parojinogs.

Authorities place the amount of illegal drugs seized at more than 100 million pesos.
8 kilos of shabu were contained in plastic bags.
Among those nabbed were a certain Melvina Malingin and a certain Gaudencio Malingin.
The police operations also yielded several firearms and explosive devices.
