Manila Police District (MPD) will step up the security cordon around the University of the Santo Tomas (UST) in Espana, Manila tomorrow (Sunday).
This comes, as the last day for the Bar examinations takes place inside the campus.
Bar exams are being held four Sundays of November each year in UST.
7,200 law graduates from across the country are taking the Bar exams this year.
MPD Spokesperson Erwin Margarejo says, aside from the 700 policemen who have been securing the areas around the university during the last three Sundays, they will deploy more cops tomorrow.
This is to ensure security for Bar examinees who will finish the exams tomorrow and their families, relatives and friends who are expected to show up to give support and celebrate with the examinees.
Margarejo says, police will also watch the movements of members of competing fraternity organizations as they may cause tension and trouble.
On exam days, traffic rerouting schemes are being enforced around UST from 4 am to 7 am and again at 4 pm to 7 pm.
Parking zone policies are strictly implemented.
Liquior ban covering the establishments around the vicinity is also in effect during this period.
