Staffmembers of Taytay Municipal Hall and the adjacent building that houses the court in Rizal have received bomb threats.
This prompted authorities to ask everyone in the two establishments to temporarily leave their work areas.
Operatives from the Philippine National Police (PNP) Explosive and Ordnance Division in Taytay, Rizal inspected the complex, including Branch 100 of Rizal Regional Trial Court (RTC), for any suspicious object.
They brought in K-9 units.
The search yielded negative results.
Taytay Police Chief Superintendent Samuel Delorino said the calls claiming the alleged presence of bombs was received at 9:05 am.
Investigators are checking the cases pending in the court which may provide lead on the identity of the caller.
The telephone lines in these offices have no caller IDs.
