President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed Ernesto Abella undersecretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).
Abella used to be the Presidential Spokesperson.

The President signed Abella's appointment papers five days after new Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque took his oath.
Meanwhile, Roque is not just serving as Duterte's mouthpiece.
He has also been named presidential adviser on human rights.
