‘KASALANG BAYAN.’ A total of 476 couples exchange marriage vows during Parañaque City’s 10th Kasalang Bayan or mass wedding held at the city’s multi-purpose complex recently. Mayor Edwin Olivarez, who ‘again’ said ‘I do’ with his wife Janet, administered the civil wedding sponsored by the city’s civil registrar and barangay operations office. The women wore wedding gowns while their partners wore barongs. Most of the couples, who came from city’s barangays, had been living together for more than 10 years already and have children.
