THE Judiciary Magis turned back the Justice Boosters, 95-88, after two overtime periods on Sunday at the Pasig City Sports Center in the continuation of the UNTV Cup Season 6 elimination round.

Chester Tolomia banged in 34 points, including six treys, while Don Camaso struck for 30 points, highlighted by eight treys, as the ex-pros led Judiciary’s scoring attack.

The two got ample support from Frederick Salamat (12 points) and Warren Ybañez (8).

It was a toe-to-toe battle for most of the game, with the count being tied at 75-all and then 80-all for a rare double-overtime finish, a first in UNTV Cup history.

Judiciary Magis’ Chester Tolomia (29) tries to steal the ball from DOJ Justice Boosters’ Paul Gerard Reguera during their teams’ UNTV Cup game at the Pasig City Sports Center.

DOJ’s Paul Gerard Reguerra scored 31 points, spiked by 6 three-pointers. He was backed up by Justine Lopez, Eric Mabazza and Marlon San Juan, with 12 points each.
