The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) celebrated 32 years of service for the Filipino people with the unveiling of the new Nida Blanca conference room on Oct.4. Chairman Rachel Arenas, with Emmanuel Borlaza, then still alive as Vice Chairman and other Board Members.
The celebration began with a thanksgiving mass after which followed the blessing and unveiling of the new conference room dedicated to former MTRCB Board Member and actor Nida Blanca.

Present at the launch was daughter Kaye Torres, Chari Villa, and Luz Valdez. After the unveiling, Arenas expressed her appreciation of board member Gloria Sevilla for her efforts in making this dedication towards the renowned actress possible.
The conference room was renamed to keep alive the memory of Nida not only as a Board Member but also as a friend, a family member and a public servant.
