Two Scout Rangers were injured when the transit bus they were riding figured in a road accident.
The soldiers were on a vehicle that was part of a convoy of buses and military trucks leaving Marawi City and travelling to Iligan City.

The mishap took place along a highway in Barangay Maria Cristina in Iligan City on Wednesday morning.
The bus hit an electric post.
Driver Jessie Gonzaga claimed he lost control of the brake.
He said he was relieved the bus did not fall off a ravine.
The injured soldiers were brought to a hospital.
Other government troopers who survived the crash were transferred to other vehicles.
