The House Committee on Justice has found sufficient ground to impeach Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno.
The Committee conducted a voting on Thursday.

25 members voted in favor of the motion while two members opposed.
Committee Chairman Reynaldo Umali declared that the impeachment complaint filed by lawyer Larry Gadon has enough basis.
The committee hearing has been adjourned at noon time on Thursday.
Umali is set to determine the date of the next hearing.
He said in the next proceeding, members will decide if there is probable cause to impeach the chief magistrate.
