Alexander Lee now a bona fide Kapuso

Why will a Korean choose to work in the Philippines, especially if he has made a name for himself in South Korea?

There must be something in the Philippines that attract him to leave his country and settle down in Manila.

GMA Artist Center announced recently that the former U-Kiss member and now My Korean Jagiya star Alexander Lee is now part of its roster of artists.

KAPUSO NETWORK'S ULTIMATE OPPA. Former U-Kiss member and "My Korean Jagiya" star Alexander Lee is now an official Kapuso after signing a co-management contract with GMA Artist Center

Lee signed a contract with the in-house Kapuso network talent management team on Sept. 21, saying how how grateful he is to be part of the Kapuso family, and to have a blossoming career in the Philippines.

“I am really honored because this is really a mutual trust and I am enjoying working together with GMA people. I am really happy because you know, seven years ago I visited the country and I was just seeing GMA on TV and now finally I am here. I am a Kapuso. It’s fate. It’s meant to be. It’s a dream come true for me.”

Alexander, at present, gives life to the character of Kim Jun Ho, a famous actor in Korea who moves to the Philippines and eventually falls in love with Gia, played by Heart Evangelista, in My Korean Jagiya.

Good news, K-drama fans! You will see more of Alexander Lee as he’s now a full-fledged Kapuso. If the news thrilled his fans, the Korean actor is even more excited to be in the country knowing that he is now a part of the no 1. network in the Philippines.

He also said that he is willing to learn to speak Tagalog.

Meanwhile, he also mentioned that after Jun Ho and Gia’s wedding in My Korean Jagiya,  the episodes would be more thrilling for the fans, and with them the Filipinos would know more about Korean culture and vice versa, the Koreans learning more about Filipinos.

And watch out for Alexander Lee’s “pasabog” in the coming episodes. It is far different from what Filipino leading men on TV have done.

That’s really intriguing, Alexander!
