Gom-os swept  both the girls’ 16-under and 18-under categories and partnered with Jossah Mea Ranas  for the girls’ 18-under doubles’ crown, while Guia  dominated the boys’ 16-under and 18-under categories of the tournament also backed by Dunlop as offical ball.

In the girls’ 16-under, Gom-os beat Angel Grace Repaja, 8-4, in the finals and Ranas, 8-3, for the 18-under title.

Then, Gom-os and Ranas made short work of Muzaina Matarul and Kristine Rose Candog, 8-1, in the girls’ 18-under doubles finals.

Guia edged out local player Eric Jay Tangub, 8-6, in the 16-under championship match, but had  an easy 8-2 victory over Iligan City’s Armando Magallanes for the 18-under crown.

New names emerged  as winners in the other  categories as Pagadian’s Jastine Faye Lim defeated  Yvonne Marie Cuevas, 8-6, in the 14-under girls’ finals.

Another local girl, Chalea Jane Paculba posted an 8-2 win  over Dipolog City native Jalia Sjaen Elumba for the girls’ 12-under crown, while in the boys’ side Aldree Pan, another player from Zamboanga del Norte, took the 14-under  crown with  an 8-5 win over Lex Estillore.

Abdel Qadzri Matarul, meanwhile, posted his second straight win in the 10-under unisex category as he had a 4-0, 4-1 win over Kurtney Malmis and added a share  of the doubles’ title in the same category, where he teamed up with Sean Andres Esick  and beat Marlyn Rose Mesiona and Nicholas Andrei Tan 4-2,4-1.

Another unfamiliar name in Penshoppe Marl Eriquita beat Joedieper Ian Lim, 8-4, for the boys’ 12-under title.

“It is good to see that  this series continues to attract young players from all over  the region. More so that in this  leg, we saw some new faces emerging  winners,” said Jean Henri Lhuillier, President/CEO of Cebuana Lhuillier.

In the doubles’ categories, winners in boys’ 18-under were Rastley JohnBaje and Jessy Ysyldre Elumba, while Angel Grace Cuevas  and Yvonne Marie Cuevas  partnered to rule the girls’ 14-under crown.
