Resigned Bureau of Customs (BOC) Commissioner Nicanor Faeldon has filed an ethics case against Senator Panfilo Lacson.
The complaint was submitted to the Senate Ethics Committee by Faeldon's counsel, Attorney Jose Dino, on Monday.
Faeldon briefly left his detention cell at the Office of the Senate Sergeant-at-Arms to accompany his lawyer in filing the case.
The filing of the complaint took 15 minutes.
The case is in connection with Lacson's privilege speech in which he said Faeldon was among the BOC officials who was receiving bribes.
Faeldon is in detention after he refused to attend the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee hearings on the smuggling of P 6.4-billion worth of shabu from China.
