SENATE President Aquilino Pimentel III on Sunday said it is high time for government to modernize the local ports in Mindanao to encourage healthy competition in the domestic shipping industry.
Pimentel issued the call as he expressed full support for the request of businessmen for government to rehabilitate, expand and upgrade the local ports in the country’s southern region.
