Sandiganbayan has set the bail for Former Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) Governor and Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) Founding Chairman Nur Misuari at P 460,000.
The anti-graft court has also issued copies of the warrant of arrest for Misuari to the Philippine National Police – Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) and the National Bureau of Investigation.
The arrest warrant is in connection with the criminal complaints Misuari is facing in Sandiganbayan's Third Division.
He was charged with graft, malversation of public funds and falsification of documents.
The cases filed by the Ombudsman are in connection with the anomalous purchase of educational supplies for the ARMM in 2000 and 2001 when Misuari was governor.
Five suppliers were supposedly paid government funds worth a total amount of P 115 million.
The procurement allegedly lacked public bidding and proper financial documents.
