Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Ronald dela Rosa has relieved some chiefs of police.
He is not satisfied with the performances of these officials in the campaign against illegal gambling, particularly 'jueteng.'

Relieved were the chiefs of police of the San Pedro in Laguna, Lipa City in Batangas, Sto. Tomas in Batangas and San Pablo City.
Dela Rosa's move comes, following the ultimatum he gave in which he had said police chiefs must curb illegal gambling in their areas within 15 days.
The PNP chief gave his warning last July 31, 2017.
