‘Wildflower’ hits new all-time high rating

Fans have been eagerly anticipating the comeback of Vin Abrenica as Jepoy and the appearance of Yen Santos as the fake Lily Cruz in ABS-CBN’s hit primetime series Wildflower.

According to the data from Kantar Media on July 3, Wildflower hit a new all-time high with a national TV rating of 25.8 percent from combined urban and rural homes compared to its rival program, which only got 10.7 percent.

The episode featured Natalie holding both Emilia (Aiko Melendez) and Ivy (Maja Salvador) captive, and Raul (Wendell Ramos) saving his son Diego’s (Joseph Marco) life.

As Diego finds out about his father’s secret persona as Jaguar, will he join him in his mission to put the Ardientes down? What will happen when Jepoy finally returns? How will the fake Ivy Aguas shake things up?

Kantar Media uses a nationwide panel size of 2,610 urban and rural homes that represent 100 percent of the total Philippine TV viewing population, while the other ratings data supplier AGB Nielsen reportedly has only 2,000 homes based solely in urban areas that represent only 57 percent of the Philippine TV viewing population.

Wildflower airs weeknights before TV Patrol on ABS-CBN or ABS-CBN HD (SkyCable ch 167).
