In observance of the 2017 National Disaster Resilience Month, the Department of Social Welfare and Development and the city government of Parañaque led by Mayor Edwin Olivarez (center) signed a memorandum of agreement on repositioning of food and non-food items during natural calamities. Concerned city department offices also strengthened several approaches to manage natural disasters and crafted a comprehensive plan in disaster risk reduction and management and information drives.
