Finally, the teaser for Finally Found Someone, John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo’s first movie together in four years, was released on Thursday, and fans couldn’t help but rave about it.
The two-minute clip from the much-anticipated flick introduces the character of Sarah, a woman who found herself heartbroken after being left at the altar. We see Sarah wearing a wedding dress, walking through the crowd at Bonifacio Global City, and crying over a guy named Randy.
John Lloyd’s character sees her and is amused. The scene then cuts to Sarah sitting at a house. She gets up to hug a guy holding a bouquet of flowers, thinking it’s Randy. The two almost kiss, when Sarah’s character embarrassingly mistakes Lloydie’s character for her ex-fiance in front of several people.
Finally Found Someone, which was initially had a working title Dear Future Husband, is apparently not a continuation of the screen couple’s blockbuster movie series, which spawned A Very Special Love (2008), You Changed My Life (2009), and It Takes A Man and A Woman (2013).
The romantic comedy is directed by Theodore Boborol, the same director behind MMFF 2016 top-groossing Vince & Kath & James.
