The Private Infra Dev Corp., operator of Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway recently conferred the TPLEX Excellence Awards on Transport Engineering to top graduates of the University of the Philippines-Institute of Civil Engineering during the Institute’s annual recognition event. These graduates demonstrated exemplary performance on subjects related to road transport engineering. PIDC will continue to recognize students and graduates who have strong potential to develop projects related to infrastructure and road safety and help in nation-building. PIDC targets to complete the 88.85 kilometer TPLEX from Tarlac City to Rosario, La Union in 2018. With a completed distance of about 70 kms. , TPLEX has made travel from Quezon City to Baguio City safer and faster in 3.5 hours or less.
