PLDT Inc. has launched an entertainment television device in a bid to attract more broadband subscribers. Developed in partnership with Roku Inc., PLDT Home’s new TVolution box is an all-in-one, plug-and-play entertainment solution loaded not only with video on demand titles from iflix and Netflix, but also with pay-TV channels from Cignal, free content from YouTube and over 100 other streaming channels. At the launching rites are PLDT FVP and Home Business Head Oscar A. Reyes Jr.; PLDT EVP and Chief Revenue Officer Eric R. Alberto; Roku Strategy and Corporate Development Executive for Telecom, Media and Technology Sector Brandon Amber; and iflix Philippines Country Manager Sherwin dela Cruz.
